Fall Symposium A Success!

The Fall Symposium was a great success yesterday.  Above (left to right) are our speakers: Neal Diboll (Prairie Nursery, Westfield, WI), Edward Lyon (Allen Centennial Gardens, UW-Madison, WI) and Dave Wanninger (Boerner Botanical Garden, Hales Corners, WI).  The guys all did a great job and the day was very well organized by Kris Koch and all of her volunteer assistance.  We had over 130 attendees and despite the chilly day, many were able to explore the gardens for the last of fall color and a sneak peak at the Holiday Lights Show (HLS) preparations.  Overall the event went very well and we're already promoting the Spring Symposium and many of our activities next year at the gardens.

The Thomas Jefferson Collection was a big hit in 2014 and will return next year
Lois and Belle (along with other Janesville Area Herb Society members) had a nice booth with fun things for sale
this was the boisterous table at the event with (left to right), Mary Kay, Cheryl, Cindy, John and Terry
