Soaking Rains On The Way

Above is a shot of one of our hundreds of breadseed poppies (Papaver somniferum 'Seriously Scarlet') at home. Nice to see some rain today and it looks like we'll have more during the week. We've certainly "crescendoed" with planting this weekend but still have about 35,000 annuals to poke in over the coming weeks in some of the smaller areas. We'll have to shift to some weeding too as the warmer rains have really boosted weed germination. Another full week ahead of us!
