The variegated golden Alexander (
Lysimachia punctata 'Alexander') is seen above in one of our volunteer's garden. The green leaved version is quite aggressive and this variety is not quite as vigorous. However, in time, you'll see some green reversions that should be removed immediately. This perennial has a long blooming period and helps illuminate a partly shaded location (with adequate moisture mind you). Lots coming up this week including the last of our seasonal plantings....!
